Welcome to the muck:up! campaign web site.

The muck:up! campaign was started in January 2010 by the parents of small children in Otley, West Yorkshire. We are concerned at the amount of dog fouling in the streets (particularly the routes to school), in our parks and on the Chevin.

Our campaign goal is to encourage all dog owners to clean their dog muck up, every time. We are grateful to the many, many dog owners who do clean up; we appreciate that it is a minority who do not.

We are fed up of dodging dog muck all over the parks and playgrounds, of scraping dog muck off our shoes and our children's shoes, our bikes and off our buggy wheels.

We want to start a dialogue between dog owners and find out why they choose not to pick up, and more importantly provide them with information to hopefully change their mind.

The campaign is in its infancy, so please bear with us whilst we get our website fully functional. If you would like to support the campaign, or have any ideas or suggestions please e-mail us at info@muckup.org.uk
